Courtyard has prominent position at building entry, facing the St. Louis skyline

 

Grid of architecture sets up the grid of the landscape.

 

Three schemes were presented for the courtyard to develop a productive dialog with the client.

 

Fence detailing mimicked the facade, and a rivulet of water plants edged the courtyard.
